HFI Compensation Gives Agents Enrollment Help & High Commissions

by John Hansen

Health Family Insurance General Agency offers competitive HFI compensation to their agents and brokers who sell health insurance in California and in other states. They provide exclusive HFI compensation programs not found anywhere else through carriers or other Field Marketing Organizations (FMO). In 2015, their agents received 6% new business commissions and up to $35,000 in bonuses paid by Molina Insurance and HFI.

Health Insurance Enrollment

Health Family Insurance offers an online application that agents can use to help consumers Apply for Obama Care on the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace. They have partnered with INX Cloud to create this online software. The online enrollment system also processes applications with life events during the Special Enrollment Period (SEP). This software is available to agents for $159/month or $45/month if you are an HFI producer. For California, click California health insurance quotes for rates and enrollment through the Covered California Health Insurance Exchange.

100% of Street Level Commissions

HFI pays producers receive 100% of the street-level commissions. That means that agents and brokers will not get paid more commissions by selling directly through the health plans or through the state or federal exchanges. They offer direct deposit weekly payouts with some carriers. HFI is implementing cloud based commission management technology, which will give agents 24/7 access to their commission statements starting in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Independent, Non-Captive Agents

All agents remain independent with no lock-in or exclusivity. HFI producers do not become captive agents, thus they have the freedom to shop products for their clients inside and outside of the Health Family Insurance portfolio. Through HFI, agents can make sales and receive commissions for health insurance, Medicare, life insurance, and other supplemental insurance products.
